Stari Grad

Stari Grad is a medieval fortress located on a high, steep cliff overlooking the city of Užice, in central Serbia. For centuries, it lay in ruins, but has been undergoing a major reconstruction project. The first phase, the restoration of the citadel, was completed and opened to visitors in late 2023, while work continues on other parts of the complex, such as the Water Tower.
