FN-6 is a third-generation passive infrared homing (IR) man portable air defence system (MANPADS) built by Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology (SAST) of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC). Developed from the HN-5 missile, the FN-6 missile is an export-oriented product and one of China's most advanced shoulder-fired surface-to-air missile offered on the international market. Specially designed to engage low-flying targets, it has a range of 6 km (3.7 mi) and a maximum altitude of 3.8 km (2.4 mi).
