Additional information: This represents her as she was originally built, with the large 45m heavy-duty catapult at stern. In March 1944 she underwent refit and conversion work at Yokosuka Naval Base - she had the catapult replaced with a standard 18m one; more crew quarters and AA weaponry added; and the large hangar (the large box-like part of the superstructure aft of her funnel in this photo) converted to house fleet staff in line with Oyodo's new role as a Combined Fleet flagship.
