English: Ljungbyhed, 25 August 1996.
A nice open day at the Kungliga Krigsflygskolan (Royal Air Force Flight Academy). It was a farewell party as well. In 1996, F5 was decommissioned and the pilot training was taken over by F 10 at nearby Ängelholm. The base closed in 1998. All aircraft and helicopter types of the RSwAF were shown on this day, that started with rain and ended with sunshine. J 35J 35594 of F 10 was withdrawn from use in 1998. |
