The Battle of Baotou was fought from 17 to 24 December 1939, in Suiyuan Province of the Republic of China, during the Second Sino-Japanese War. Taking place in the Eighth War Area in Northern China, the engagement was part of the wider 1939–1940 Winter Offensive by the National Revolutionary Army.
