English: At the south wall of the Wanping Castle in Beijing. The spot damaged by the Japanese shelling during the Marko Polo Bridge (Lugouqiao) Incident in 1937 are marked with a memorial plaque. The text on the row of black stone drums along the walls tells the story of the War against Japan that followed the incident. Русский: У южной стены крепости Ваньпин. Повреждения от японского обстрела во время Инцидента у моста Марко Поло (1937г) помечены мемориальной доской. Текст на каменных бочках, расставленных вдоль стены, излагает краткую историю последовавшей Войны против японских захватчиков (1937-45) Italiano: Mura sud del castello di Wanping a Pechino. I danni causati dai bombardamenti da parte dei Giapponesi durante l'incidente del Ponte Marco Polo (Lugouqiao) nel 1937 sono indicati da una placca commemorativa.
