English: Lupe McElvenny sets her sights on a high-powered sniper rifle at Seal Team 17’s static display during Fleet Logistics Support Squadron (VR) 57’s 4th Annual Make-A-Wish Holiday Salute Dec. 8. Standing behind Lupe is her father, U.S. Marine Capt. Eric McElvenny, who spoke at the event as a Wounded Warrior. Seven different Navy commands from Naval Air Station North Island and Marines from the Miramar Air Station set up static displays and interacted with Make-A-Wish San Diego children and their family members during the event.
