English: U.S. Navy Capt. John M. Dorey, the commanding officer of the guided missile cruiser USS Anzio (CG 68), looks through the ship's binoculars to observe another vessel while under way for an aerial photograph during Unitas Atlantic phase 53-12 Sept. 24, 2012, in the Caribbean Sea. Unitas, Latin for "unity," is an annual U.S. Southern Command-sponsored, multinational naval exercise designed to enhance security cooperation and improve coalition operations between South American and U.S. maritime forces.
