| Description | The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) underway with the Spanish frigate Álvaro de Bazán (F101), in 2005-06. This was the first deployment of a Spanish warship as part of an American naval battle group. Theodore Roosevelt, with assigned Carrier Air Wing 8 (CVW-8), was deployed to the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean from 1 September 2005 to 11 March 2006. |
