Description
English: The U.S. Navy destroyer USS Stanly (DD-478) after the aircraft catapult had been removed at the Charleston Naval Shipyard, South Carolina (USA), on 16 February 1943. At this time she had the non-standard armament configuration with five 127mm/38 guns, one twin 40mm gun mount on the fantail and nine 20mm guns.
