Task Group 40 is composed of Pearl Harbor, guided missile frigate USS Samuel B Roberts (FFG 58), guided missile destroyer USS Mitscher (DDG 57) and Chilean frigate Almirante Latorre (FFG 14). Partnership of the Americas supports the U.S. Navy’s concept of a 1,000 ship Navy, which brings together maritime services to work toward common objectives of security and interoperability. |
