Summary

Description
English: The U.S. Navy destroyer escort USS Corbesier (DE-438) on 27 May 1944. She is painted in Camouflage Measure 31, Design 22D. The photo was taken off the New York Naval Shipyard, two months after being commissioned. She had been in the yard for post-shakedown availability from 20 to 27 May, when she shifted her berth to Pier 35 of the New York Naval Shipyard Annex for resupply.
