Description
English: Turret Gateway viewed from The Newarke, with Wygston's Chantry House at right. Turret Gateway was the entrance from Leicester Castle bailey to THe Newarke (the "new work"). The gateway is also known as Rupert's Gateway because Prince Rupert besieiged the area in 1645.
