English: This poster was created by the Salario al lavoro domestico groups in the Mestre area (including the Lotta Femminista groups of Venice, Mestre and Padua) to advertise the groups events for International Women's Day 1974 including film screenings, musical performance and photography exhibition. The events of the weekend were chronicled in a text titled "A Long Weekend of Struggle" included in Silvia Federici and Arlen Austin eds. The New York Wages for Housework Committee 1972-1977: History, Theory and Documents (Brooklyn: Autonomedia, 2019) 254–272. |
