English: On 8 January 1967 Troop "B" 3rd Squadron 4th Cavalry, 25th Infantry Division joined in Operation "Cedar Falls" as a blocking force along the Saigon River in the Filhol Plantation approx [approximately] 12 miles North West of Cu Chi, the troops' base camp, which is 27 miles North West of Saigon. M48A3 tanks and M113 armored personnel carriers advance across open terrain in search of the enemy. NARA 111-CCV-345-CC38108
