RHODESIAN POLICE CROSSING A RIVER BY A NATIVE BRIDGE. the place. Next day a British column arrived,but the Germans had gone, taking with them£30,000 worth of goods. On September 5Abercorn, which is 10 miles from Kituta, wasattacked. It was held by Mr. Bisset, the post-master, and 40 police.
