Summary
DescriptionTNIAU A4.JPG
Photo of an ex-Indonesian Air Force (Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Udara or TNI-AU) McDonnell Douglas A-4H Skyhawk at the Indonesian Air Force Museum. The A-4H was originally produced for Israel, which later sold some to Indonesia to supplement the Indonesian A-4Es delivered by the USA. The A-4H was an A-4E with 30 mm DEFA guns in place of the U.S. 20 mm guns and different avionics. It can be easily distinguished by the lager gun fairings. Barley visible is also the exhaust dampener on the tailpipe fitted in Israel to give better protection from heat seeking missiles.
