Summary

Description A U.S. Navy Lockheed T2V-1 Seastar of the Naval Air Test Center at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland (USA), makes its first carrier landing on the training carrier USS Antietam (CVS-36), on 7 October 1957. Note that the 12.7 cm guns from the aft turret of Antietam have been removed. She also still carries the (World War II-) SC-2 radar, left, together with SPS-6 (mast) and SPS-8A (right).
