Summary

Description
English: Stiletto & Now Then (Nathanael Greene Herreshoff).

By 1887, Nathanael Herreshoff was a keen steam engineer, and had designed fast steam yachts and US Navy torpedo boats with several world speed records. After losing his steam license following a fatal accident in 1888, he would concentrate on sailing yachts instead, and would inherit his friend Edward Burgess' supremacy in the America's Cup.
