English: 10,917 GRT passenger and cargo twin-screw motor ship Southern Prince, shown here in her civilian livery for Prince Line (part of Furness, Withy). Lithgows of Port Glasgow built her in 1929. In World War II the Admiralty requisitioned her and used her as a minelayer. Costa Lines of Italy bought her in 1947 and renamed her Anna C. She caught fire in 1971 and was scrapped.
