Deutsch: Südwestansicht der Burg Plankenwarth in der steiermärkischen Gemeinde St. Oswald bei Plankenwarth.
Die Burg wird 1265 erstmals urkundlich erwähnt. 1739 übernahm Johann Seifried Graf Herberstein die Herrschaft. Sein Bruder Karl Leopold ließ 1754 die Burg zu einem Schloss barock umbauen, erweitern und von Joseph Hueber im Inneren neu ausgestatten. Zur Herrschaft gehörten damals etwa 425 Gehöfte, die sich auf 69 verschiedene Ortschaften verteilten. Seit 1981 befindet sich das Schloss im Privatbesitz einer Grazer Rechtsanwaltsfamilieː [1].
