Svenska: Slaget vid Lund 1676. Konung Karl XI (1655-1697) slår sig igenom fientliga skvadroner. Målning av Johan Philip Lemke.
I målningens mittparti synes Karl XI jämte Ascheberg och Dahlbegh spränga igenom de danska linjerna, dit de förirrat sig. Efter dem en ryttare i blå kappa. I förgrunden döda hästar och krigare. I mellanplanet på en öppen hed två svenska kavalleriformationer. I bakgrunden synes staden Lund, framför denna trupper uppställda i fyrkanter, och längst bort Öresund. Blå vinterhimmel med ljusa moln. Inom ramverket text över målningen. |
