Summary

Description Silver ingots salvaged from the wreck of the Nuestra Senora de Atocha, sunk by storm in the Marquesas in 1622; silver primarily from (present day) Bolivia. Exhibit in HistoryMiami museum (formerly Historical Museum of Southern Florida), in the Miami-Dade Cultural Center, 101 West Flagler Street, Florida, USA. Photography was permitted in the museum without restrictions.
