Place - Fort Korigad, Maharashtra, India i don't know how i was able to take this picture. there were just so many adverse factors! first of all the light. though we were on top of a mountain, it was raining and there were clouds everywhere. it was somewhere around 5.30 pm. there was hardly any light and the flash was just ruining the picture. then there was the size of this flower. it's a pretty tiny one and you won't believe it until you actually see it. then there was my cam. it's a pretty basic one and doesn't even have manual aperture and sensitivity control. then there was wind. a tremendous amount if it. the flower just wasn't remaining in a still position. i didn't have tripod and didn't want to use flash. so i was pretty sure the picture was going to be a mess. but as they say, miracles do happen. suddenly the wind dropped for a moment, my camera was able to focus on this tiny thing and without thinking for another moment, i clicked. i think the picture turned out to be a decent one. any subsequent attempts to get another picture were...you guessed it right, mess:) (by the way this is 'the' picture. it is not digitally or otherwise enhanced in any manner) |
