English: Reigate Fort - Casemate. See 1143457. One of two similar structures in the fort built to house the tools required for digging trenches and clearing ground in the event of invasion. Later they were also used to house ammunition. The intention was that they could easily be emptied for use as a local headquarters or a shelter for troops.
