Summary
DescriptionReconstructed flag of Alash Orda.jpg
English: In a publication made by Barlïbek Sïrtanulï (1866-1914) in 1911, he described the colors of the flag for the Kazaki nation as 'green for Islam, yellow for the Kazaki Steppe, and red for the independence'.
The description of the flag was not made particularly for Alash Autonomy or Alash Orda which lived between the years of 1917 and 1920, but since the Alash Horde was the first independent republic established by the Kazaki people and the name 'Alash' is cognate with 'Kazak' (later "Kazakh"), it is proposed that Älikhan Bökeykhanulï and other elites of Alash Party also considered Sïrtanulï's description valid and used as the official flag of Alash Orda.
Since it's unclear whether they used this design or not, it cannot be used as it was their official flag. Before the proposal of this design inspired by Sïrtanulï's description for the flag of the Kazaki nation, the design of the flag of Alash Autonomy was widely accepted as yellow star and crescent on a red background.
