Description
English: The Steam-ship "Atlantic," Wrecked on Mars Head on the Morning of April 1, 1873, a wood engraving published in Harper's Weekly, April 1873. Engraving from 1871 depicting "Atlantic"'s sister ship, the "Oceanic", by Samuel Walters. Often re-printed onto small steerage plan cards for all six of the class, though the nameplate on the bow reads 'Oceanic'.
