Description
English: Photograph of 2 British QF 6 pounder rounds from 1890s. Both are "Common shells" with base fuze.


The shell at left is a Mk II made in 9/1891 by Royal Laboratory. See Image:QF 6 pdr steel shell 1891 closeup.jpg for closeup.
These rounds were obtained in South Australia in 2008 and are believed to have equipped South Australian colonial forces.
