English: Pottergate In years to come, this may become associated with the making of the Harry Potter films at nearby Alnwick Castle. But they have nothing in common; this was not some sort of filming scandal. This Pottergate is the town's western gateway and had been in existence since at least the 16th century although the tower was rebuilt in the 18th century.
