| Description | The Portugese minesweeper NRP Pico (M 416) under construction at Bellingham Shipyards Company, Bellingham, Washington (USA), circa in 1953. Pico was laid down with the U.S. Navy designation AM-479 (later MSO-479) on 1 October 1953 and was launched on 22 June 1954. The ship was transferred to Portugal upon completion on 1 June 1955. She was decommissioned on 12 August 1974 and transferred to Belgium for spare parts and was finally scrapped on 2011. | |||
