This pond in the grounds of Duns Castle had a rather sinister air about it, surrounded as it was by dark trees and covered with what looked like a greasy film but may have been some sort of algae. In contrast the main lake, quaintly named Hen Poo (see 17448 and 9017) was clean and sparkling! |
