Modèle 1892 revolver - The Model 1892 Revolver was a French service revolver produced by Manufacture d'armes de Saint-Étienne as a replacement for the MAS 1873 revolver. Outside of France, it is sometimes incorrectly called the Lebel Revolver - The Mle 1892 was a mechanically tight, accurate and very well finished revolver chambered for an 8mm cartridge - manufactuered between1892 and 1924 and issued to officers in the French Army. The Croix de guerre 1914–1918 (French for "Cross of War") is a French military decoration. It was created to recognize French and allied soldiers who were cited for their service during World War I, similar to the British Mentioned in Despatches.The cross was worn with the appropriate attachments to signify the singular or multiple awards of the decoration. |
