Summary
| Description |
British English: Royal Air Force (RAF) Percival Provost T1 registration WV562, c/n PAC/56/F/108. Built 1954. Flew with 22 Flying Training School (22FTS) at RAF Syerston, which was later renumbered as No. 1 Flying Training School RAF (1FTS) and moved to RAF Linton-on-Ouse. Retired in 1959 as replaced by Jet Provosts. Used for ground instruction at RAF Henlow and RAF Cranwell until moved to Cosford museum in 1979. During 2014 she was temporarily painted in Sultan of Oman Air Force colours for an exhibition at Hendon. She has now returned to Cosford and her RAF colours. Currently on display in Hangar 1 at the RAF Museum Cosford, Shropshire, UK. 14th August 2016. |
