English: 051108-N-0716S-002Persian Gulf (Nov. 8, 2005) – The Pakistani Navy frigate PNS Badr (D 184) steams alongside the amphibious assault ship USS Tarawa (LHA 1) in the Northern Persian Gulf. Tarawa is the flagship for Expeditionary Strike Group One (ESG-1), commanded by Rear Adm. Michael LeFever, who is also coordinating U.S. Forces for the Pakistani led relief effort for the earthquake that struck the northern part of the country on October 8th.
