English: 180210-N-LK571-0018 SOUTH CHINA SEA (Feb. 10, 2018) Sailors observe Type 052D guided-missile destroyer PLANS Hefei (DDG-174) transiting the South China Sea from the hangar bay of Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). Carl Vinson Strike Group is currently operating in the Western Pacific as part of a regularly scheduled deployment.
