Description
English: Australia, 1926-1935. Supermarine Seagull III A9-5 of No. 101 Fleet Co-operation Flight RAAF which has just landed on the water and is about to be hoisted aboard the seaplane carrier HMAS Albatross (not in view). The cable from the ship's crane appears at right. Two of the seaplane's three crewmen have clambered onto the top wing of the aircraft to grasp the cable and attach it to the aircraft, so that it can be hoisted aboard the vessel. (Donor R. Johnson)
