Deutsch: Gebäude Altstadt Olten, Schweiz: Stadtrundgang Objekt 18: Der "Zielemp" ist der Rest des alten Stadtschlosses, das 1868 teilweise abgebrochen und um anderthalb Geschosse gekürzt wurde. Das Stadtschloss war der ehemalige Sitz der frohburgischen Stadtvögte. Es gehörte zu einem ummauerten Komplex der von der Aare bis hinauf zur „Frohburger-Hofstatt“ und zum Kapuzinertörchen reichte (Stadtburg, „Rittersaal“, Scheunen sowie Fluchtburg mit Zisterne als eigene Notwasserversorgung). |
