Summary

Description
English: The building on the right is Oak House, Swindon Primary Care Trust, three years after closure in 2010. On the left is Ash House, owned by Great Western Hospital Foundation Trust, which had not been used since 2002. The site was originally developed in 1942 to accommodate medical staff serving at RAF Hospital Wroughton, renamed RAF Princess Alexandra Hospital on 4 October 1967.

Oak House had most recently been used as a residential care home, and had been variously known as Oak House Social Development Unit, Oxford Learning Disability TRU, Ridgeway Partnership (Oxfordshire Learning Disability NHS Trust) Oak House STB (Short Term Breaks).

The site has now been redeveloped for housing.[1][2] See alsp photo at: [3], [4], [5], [6]
