View of the flight line at the U.S. Navy Naval Air Station Anacostia, Washington D.C. (USA), around 1930. The second aircraft on the left (in dark blue) is the Lockheed XRO-1 (BuNo A-9054) Altair purchased by

the Navy for use as a VIP transport for David S. Ingalls, Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Aeronautics. Other aircraft include Boeing F3B fighters, Vought O2U Corsiars, and Ford JR Trimotor transports.
