Magyar: A mohácsi csata (1526. augusztus 29.) emlékének megőrzésére „néhány évvel ezelőtt egy lelkes hazánkfia, az 1848-ki szabadságharc egyik vitéze: Turcsányi Soma. maga vállalkozott rá, hogy addig is, míg a nemzet megemlékezik kegyeletes kötelességéről, ő a maga költségén fölállít egy egyszerű emlékkövet a mohácsi csatatéren. Az emlékkő a derék hazafi terve, felügyelete mellett és költségére 1860-ban csakugyan felállíttatott s 1871-ben kijavíttatott.
