English: The S.S. Vale of Pickering was built in 1924 by the Furness Shipbuilding Co. Ltd., Middlesbrough (Yard Number 75), for Vale Shipping Co. Ltd., Middlesbrough.
It was lost in a collision in the English Channel on 24 July 1929. This model is on display in the south choir aisle in York Minster. |
