Description

AWM caption : "Ronssoy, France. 30 September 1918. One of a number of tanks disabled by land mines in the fighting near Duncan Post, in the Ronssoy area."
Comment : The tank is a Mk V male. The mines consisted of obsolete 2 inch mortar bombs. The British had laid the minefields earlier in 1918 before they withdrew from the area.
