Summary
| Description |
The East Germans operated the MiG-21M next to the MF-version. The MF had an upgraded engine and a better radar. You can easily distinguish them by looking at the canopy: the MF has a rear-view mirror and the M doesn't. Many M's were based at Drewitz with Fighter Squadron JG-7 and Reconnaissance Squadron TAFS-47. August 1990 |
