Description
English: OPERATION FRANCIS MARION - A search and destroy mission against N. Vietnamese Army troops moving through Pleiku Province, 40 km southwest of Pleiku and east of the Cambodian border. Members of HQ Co, 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Bde, 4th Inf Div, clean up four Russia-designed AK-47 automatic assault weapons, two straw helmets, two belts, one hammock support wire, and three canteens captured by Co "B".
