W celach izolatkach umieszczani byli więźniowie aresztowani w ważnych sprawach lub też tacy, na których zeznaniach Gestapo wyjątkowo zależało. Więźniowie przetrzymywani w tych celach często byli zakuci w kajdany. Niektórych przesłuchiwano po 50 i więcej razy. Ciężko pobici, głodni, chorzy, niejednokrotnie pozbawieni jakiegokolwiek posłania, przebywali w nich nieraz tygodniami, a nawet miesiącami. |
