English: High-resolution digital image of an inscription attributed to the Satavahana dynasty.

This image was generated by 3D scanning the original stone inscription as part of a documentation effort by the "The Mythic Society Bengaluru Inscriptions 3D Digital Conservation Team. The digitisation was carried out on the occasion of the seminar "Early Kadambas and Their Times", held at the Mythic Society, Bengaluru, from March 22–24, 2025.

The inscription is located in At Malavalli on a pillar in the Kalleshwara temple. It is engraved on a Pillar and written in Satavahana Brahmi script. The inscription is dated to the Satavahana, 200CE Accomplished, Victorious is the God of Malapali. Vinhukada Chutukulananda Satakarni, the king of Vaijayantipura, belonging to Manavya-gotra and a son of Hariti commands mahavalabha rajjuka (thus): May life and wealth increase. To please the divine, a source of continued happiness, for the enjoyment of the God of Malapali (which is) a place for great sages, (and) for our own safety was granted the village Sahalavati, free from all encumbrances, free from all of taxes, not to be entered by soldiers, fully prepared, as a Brahamana endowment to Kondamana son of Takinchi, belonging to Kaundinya- gotra and a son of Hariti, on the first day of the second fortnight of the Grishma season, in the first year of rule..... seen....
