DescriptionMakinami-194304-05.jpg	English: The Japanese destroyer Makinami docked in the Mauzuru naval arsenal. During Operation Ke, 1 February 1943, Makinami had been crippled by bomb near misses which left the destroyer dead in the water, requiring her to be towed to Truk. After emergency repairs, Makinami limped to Maizuru, where she remained drydocked until later that September.
