Description

The minesweepers AM-475 and AM-476 (during construction, the "AM" designation was changed to "MSO") under construction at Bellingham Shipyards, Bellingham, Washington (USA). The ships were never commissioned in the U.S. Navy, but were transferred to France:
MSO-475: transferred to France as My Tho (M 618) on 20 October 1954, decommissioned 20 January 1988;

MSO-476: transferred to France as Can Tho (M 615) on 16 February 1955, reclassified "A 769" in 1976, struck in 1987.
