Only one radar face was installed on MAR, of a possible four. The installed face looked northward, to the right in this image. The disk for the receiver is on the main dome, the transmitter on the rightmost of the two small domes. The dark rails running on the faces of those disks support covers that move up to protect the antennas.

On the top of the central dome is a radar taken from a Nike Hercules battery. This was used as a ranging unit to calibrate the MAR radars.

The large fence prevents reflections off the ground from sidelobes. Smaller fences do the same for the Hercules radar on top, and between the transmitter domes.

The western end of the airstrip can be seen on the left side of the image. The hanger is just out of view on the left, a taxiway parallels the access road running diagonally on the left.
