The landing of the Rinella gun at Somerset Dock, Senglea, on 10th September 1882. It was left there for almost a year until, in late 1883, it was ferried across Grand Harbour on a barge into Kalkara and then transported to Fort Rinella. A special road had to be constructed to get the gun from Kalkara to its final site in Rinella. |
